A long history of passion and talent

Everything starts from the passion of a barely 16-year-old boy, charmed by the elegant word of salons. Inspired by the work of more mature hairstylists, Claudio enrolls at a professional hairstyiling school and understands his vocation. After he starts working as an assistant, he refines and develops that autonomy which, at 21, incites him to open his very first salon.

While temporarily not working as hairstylist, Claudio understands that the art of hairstyling is going through a stagnation phase. Looking for inspiration in the world of business and fashion, he goes back in the hair business and starts working on his own. After four years, he is managing eight salons, and the customer base he was able to grow offers him the possibility to experiment with a coloring method never seen before: the first Degradé is born.

The new Degradé is soon supported by a haircutting technique which is just as original: (H)Air Volume Cut. By refining every technique without ever stopping experimenting, each procedure is coded in maps and steps, making it possible to export them in other salons, on the first hairstylists, excited by the project, reunited under the name of Centro Degradé Joelle.

With the trust and support of many colleagues, Claudio is soon helped by the partnership with Wella, to guarantee distinction and quality of CDJ services thanks to its reliability. The history of Centro Degradé Joelle created a national network connecting the best hairstylists willing to offer a service which is always better and different from any other. Based on shared desires and goals, the company grows along with its affiliates, never disappointing the expectations of a customer base which grows more and more attached to the company.
